JUSTICE FOR FARMERS
Before America was... discrimination existed for Black People! The first documented instance of Black slaves being discriminated against in America dates back to the early 17th century. One significant early case is the legal decision in 1640 involving John Punch, an African servant in the Virginia Colony. Punch attempted to escape his servitude along with two white indentured servants. When they were caught, the white servants had their terms of indenture extended by a few years, while Punch was sentenced to serve as a slave for life.
DISCRIMINATION
Human rights are rights inherent to all human beings, regardless of race, sex, nationality, ethnicity, language, religion, or any other status. We network with business professionals, lawyers, foundations, churches, and community
members interested in keeping a level playing field for all members of Georgia.
CIVIL RIGHTS
The Civil Rights Act of 1964 prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex or national origin. Provisions of this civil rights act forbade discrimination on the basis of sex, as well as, race in hiring, promoting,
and firing. This includes housing, financial, and employment opportunities.
TRAINING & SUPPORT
We offer training and financial support to persons that find themselves in a human or civil rights violation. We connect information, referrals, and resources to those who need it most to ensure a fair opportunity for success, an equal playing field, and equal opportunity for all.
